Here at Married in Leeds, we are seeing less and less of the traditional morning suits with their ridiculous swirly waistcoats, top hats and tailcoats. Instead our grooms are embracing their chance to custom design suits with fancy linings, or even hitting the high street for a slim fitting suit from the likes of TopMan, Ted Baker, Paul Smith and Vivienne Westwood.
The guys have been getting all funky with floral and knitted ties, and even throwing caution to the wind along with formality by using the wedding as an excuse to dress up or go all casual in jeans and open necked shits. Suits with no ties were extremely popular last year, along with beautifully cut tweed, tailored waistcoats and personalised Converse trainers.
Braces made a welcome comeback and all kinds of beautifully patterned handkerchiefs, pocket watches and funky cufflinks completed the look.
Of course it's not just the outfits either. The boys are spending lots of time on getting perfectly coiffed hair and old fashioned wet shaves too. Add to that some stylish boutonnieres, and our grooms are good to go.
Here's a few stylish grooms to show you how it's done and give you some inspiration for your wedding outfit.
